SM just released the name of their new girl-group and it’s Times of Girls (소 녀시대). What? After all that marketing, they couldn’t come up with a better name? If they couldn’t top Super Girls, they should’ve just stayed with the fan made name rather than calling these girls Times of Girls. The Korean version, soo-nyu-she-dae is a hard name to pronounce for foreigners and the English translation sounds horrible! Anyways, it turns out that there are 9 girls in this gigantic girl group and supposedly, they are prodigies who are fluent in English, Chinese, Japanese and some. They are going to debut in August and after their album promotion, they will branch out to different activities, including acting, MC, DJ, modeling, etc. Now, who’s counting down to Times of Girls’ debut? Since we are all having a hard time distinguishing the nonuplets, here are their names, starting from the left: Top row: Sunny, YuRi, Tiffany, Soo Young, Seo Hyun Middle row: Tae Yeon, YoonA, Hyo Yeon Front row: Jessica source: popseoul Comment Here.. |

The 12 candidates in the Mr. Hong Kong 2007 competition met the press. The candidates were divided into the "Youth" and "Mature" groups. The men wore white shirts with jeans as well as basketball workout clothes. Aside from demonstrating their basketball skills, they also lifted dumbells to show off their muscles. Several candidates in the "Youth" category appeared to be weak and effeminate, obviously losing out to the men in the "Mature" group. However they had charming smiles, hoping to leave a lasting impression. This year's Mr. Hong Kong competition will be held on August 11th. TVB executives, Mr. Ho Lai Chuen and Producer, Ho Siu Wai were present. Shermon Tang Sheung Man acted as the MC. |

Yep, went and translated this interview yesterday. He was interviewed, I believe, before his birthday party. Most of the questions that he was asked were about his upcoming album. Even though I like Eru, I don’t really like the timing of this album as his will clash with Wheesung’s. But looking at the bright side, since both of them will be coming back around the same time, they may do performance collaboration together . ERU is veteran artist Tae Jin Ah’s son and he’s also currently one of the most popular singers in Korea. Even though he’s not outright handsome but he has a deep voice, that enabled him to have a good footing in K-Pop. He didn’t rely on his famous father but on his own talent. A few days ago, he had a second fans’ meeting in Korea and SINA has the opportunity to interview him. ERU (E): Hello, SINA internet users. My name is ERU. I’m really happy to meet you and this is my second interview. |
