The 28th Hong Kong Film Awards Ceremony came to a close last night. After 20 years in the film industry Nick Cheung 張家輝 has claimed 'Best Actor' in the EEG film 'Beast Stalker,' while Paw Hee-Ching the hot favourite to claim 'Best Actress' on the night. Ip Man won 'Best Picture' and 'Best Director' goes to 'Ann Hui' for the movie 'The Way We Are.'

The 28th Hong Kong Film Awards Ceremony was held at Hong Kong Cultural Center on the 19th April. Overall, "Red Cliff" and "The Way We Are" were the biggest winners for the night, taking away five and four awards respectively.

After the alleged drug possession scandal in Japan more than a month ago, Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀) has held a press conference apologising and announcement his movement out of the entertainment industry. He also sends his thoughts and care to his girlfriend Jill Vidal (衛詩) who is still in remand in Japan.

It just goes to show that not even beautiful superstars can get it right every time. 

A report by BBC and Kyodo News stated that 26 year old Jill Vidal (衛詩) and 25 year old Kelvin Kwan (關楚耀) were arrested at Tokyo, Japan, with the possession of Cannabis.
