The blessing ceremony for the movie, ‘The Fantastic Water Babes’ (出水芙蓉) was held in Cheung Chau yesterday. Apart from the main casts, Gillian Chung, Alex Fong, Tian Liang and Eva Huang, Eva’s rumoured boyfriend, Yang Zi also attended the event. At the previous function for the movie, Alex and Gillian seemed to disregard each other but this time, the two cooperated very well. Not only did they stand next to each other during the group photo, they were then willing to have photos taken of them standing together. But once the ceremony started, the two went their separate ways. When Gillian accepted a television interview, she immediately turned away when she saw that Alex had not finished his. Yesterday’s weather was unsettled, causing Eva Huang to be soaked from the sudden down pour of rain. Her blue dress became transparent, which revealed her white top underneath.

In this movie, Gillian and Alex play bickering enemies, when asked if they will become lovers, Alex replied, “At the moment, it’s bickering. There will be no kissing scene.” It is known that Gillian and Alex have a lot of screen time together, so it was questioned if they will meet up in their own time and talk about the script. When asked this, Alex nervously answered, “I do not dare! Artists are lonely people, we do not have many friends, and most of my friends are not in this industry!”

Gillian has moved in Cheung Chau because most of the scenes in the movie are shot there. Although there have been many ghost stories about the region, Gillian is not afraid. Regarding Yumiko Cheng’s latest wardrobe malfunction, Gillian refused to comment but stated that EEG members are like a big family.
