TVB's new series, "The Drive of Life" will be airing in Hong Kong next Monday, July 16th. Rumors were already rampant that due to mediocre ratings of "The Drive of Life" in China, Raymond Lam Fung was dodging responsibility, claiming he was only a "supporting actor" rather than the "main lead."
Raymond was angered and exasperated over the rumors, indicating that reporters distorted his statement. "Reporters claimed that I was leading the series, so I pointed out that Damien Lau Chung Yan and Michael Miu Kiu Wai carry much weight in the series. Since the series boasts such a grand cast, everyone is a lead!"

Raymond was unafraid that the cast of "The Drive of Life" would misunderstand him. But he was concerned that artists whom he had never worked with would misunderstand.
Regarding the mediocre ratings in China, Raymond said, "Actually, the ratings are not as poor as the media represents. According to a reliable source, 'The Drive of Life' achieved ratings within the top 3 spots in China. Since the series is 60 episodes long, it takes time for the audience to become immersed with the story."

Raymond admitted that the series will face greater pressure when it is broadcast in Hong Kong. Since this was the first time TVB collaborated with CCTV, the artists were careful not to alter the dialogue during filming.
