Niki Chow (周麗淇), Casey Tse (謝文雅), Vanessa Yeung (楊琤) and EO2 were among the guests at an early Halloween party today to open the haunted house at the EMax Centre in Kowloon Bay.

During a group photo, Niki was frightened by a staff member who was dressed up as a ghost. She said: "The make up was really horrible and I am very frightened when they suddenly jump out. I remember when I went to a haunted house in Japan and the ghosts there were hugging and grabbing you." She added that she was worried about taken advantage of because it was so dark and she did not know if it was a man or a woman, so she made it clear that if she was too frightened, then she could react by hitting them. Asked if she would be going out in masks with her rumoured boyfriend, Niki just smiled and did not reply.

Casey said that when she was studying, she went to a haunted house with a friend and although it was quite scary, it helped build her courage. She said: "I did not want to go at first, but my classmates forced me. When I stayed in dorms, my roommates decorated the room with scary things. I am most afraid of embroidered shoes because they remind me of ghostly brides."
