Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Steven Cheung (張智恆) both have birthdays in November and their friends held a joint birthday party for them on Friday (09 November) at a Causeway Bay club.

Many EEG artistes appeared on the guest list, which included Joey Yung (容祖兒), Deep Ng (吳浩康), Yumiko Cheng (鄭希怡) and Eric Suen (孫耀威). However, Charlene's rumoured boyfriend Ronald Cheng (鄭中基) did not make an appearance.

Every guest at the event had to bring with them a copy of Twins' new album or pay a fine of HK$300.

Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐) prepared a birthday cake for her good friend Charlene and also gave her a birthday kiss on the cheek. Joey's gift was accessories and Yumiko presented Charlene with a new handbag.

Charlene revealed that her birthday wish was for good health and said that she was very happy that she has such good friends who buy her albums. She thanked everyone for attending and said that she knew that one of her friends could not find a copy of their record anywhere in Causeway Bay and had to go all the way to North Point to buy it. She laughed that the local shop assistants were very baffled as to why so many people suddenly wanted to buy their album.

The party went on until 2am before the guests left the club.
