Twins, Sammy Leung (森美) and Justin Lo (側田) attended a function at Hong Kong Disneyland, today. They created new outfits for a human-sized Mickey Mouse.
Today also happened to be Twin member Gillian Chung (鍾欣桐)'s birthday - she turned 27 - and she happily exclaimed of being ecstatic to be spending the entire day with Mickey. For her design of Mickey's outfit, Gillian had Mickey wearing a Tarzan outfit, explaining that indigenous people are very lively, so the image portrayed is active and healthy.
Twin's other member, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍), pieced together many photos of babies for Mickey's outfit. She explained that she had originally wanted to use baby photos of herself, Gillian, and Kay Tse (謝安琪)'s baby son, but due to legal issues, she was only able to use the baby photos provided to her by Disney, though she said she hopes to be able to re-do the outfit. Charlene said she feels that children represent happiness, and Mickey is a character that has grown up with children.
Gillian said that she and Charlene had just returned to Hong Kong from Huangnan, Tibet, by train. As she was sleeping on the train, she heard the sound of someone singing "Happy Birthday" and opened her eyes to the sight of Charlene holding a tiramisu cake out to her. Charlene said that her first attempt to make tiramisu had failed, and that that was her second attempt. As the two were crossing the border of Huangnan, they took a picture together with the cake.
Gillian showed off the diamond bracelet that Charlene had given her as a birthday gift, while Charlene explained that she had designed the bracelet herself and had it made for Gillian and will be having one of the same designs made for herself. As for her birthday wish, Gillian laughingly said that she hopes their new album will attain high sales and for their upcoming concert to be a success. Asked why she did not wish for love for her birthday wish, Gillian responded that relationships should be left up to fate.
