Bobby was asked about reports that he is taking libel action against a tabloid magazine that published fabricated reports about him cheating on his wife and then losing him a job worth HK$80,000. He said that, as there are legal proceedings underway, he was not in a position to comment on the case and it is in the hands of his lawyers. He did add that it is not the value of the loss that is important, but the damage that these reports can do to his reputation.

TVB new series A Pillow Case Of Mystery II <施公奇案II> held its blessing ceremony to mark the start of filming. Cast members including Bobby Au Yeung (歐陽震華), Jessica Hsuan (宣萱), Leila Tong (唐寧), Joel Chan (陳山蔥) and Eileen Yeow (姚瑩瑩) were at the event.

Jessica revealed that she will be having some "bed scenes" with Bobby in the series, where she will be trying to seduce him by showing her legs and unbuttoning her clothing. She then complained that Bobby is not handsome enough and laughed that she should ask the producer to arrange for her to seduce one of the younger actors instead. However, she made it up to Bobby, saying that he has a different kind of attraction and gives a sense of stability and maturity instead.

Bobby returned the favour by joking that he was so invigorated during the seduction scene that he had a nosebleed and had to stab himself in the thigh to control himself.
