Celebrating its 41st Anniversary, TVB handed out the 2008 Anniversary Awards at a star-studded ceremony this evening at TVB City. Ending months of speculation about who would take the Best Actor and Best Actress awards, Moonlight Resonance <溏心風暴之家好月圓> stars Ha Yu (夏雨) and Michelle Yim (米雪) were announced as this year's winners. 

After being presented by his golden trophy, Ha Yu spoke emotionally about how he had waited forty years for this award. He said he had a lot of things that he wanted say and paid a special tribute to "Uncle Six" Sir Run Run Shaw (邵逸夫), who has been his boss since he first entered the industry. He also thanked executives Stephen Chan (陳志雲), Chan Pui Wah (陳佩華), Catherine Tsang (曾勵珍) and Tommy Leung (梁家樹) for their support in giving him this award. He expressed his gratitude to all the talents he has had the fortune to work for over the years and from whom he has learned a lot. He then said that this award was just one of the many targets that he still hopes to achieve in his career and believed that as long as he is still around, then he can achieve it. He ended his acceptance speech with a quote from Moonlight - "If you say I can, then I can. If you say I cannot, then I cannot."
