The two shows of the East Asia Capital Artists Concert <東亞華星演唱會> took place on 13 and 15 December at the AsiaWorld Expo Arena. Among the stars taking part were Sammi Cheng (鄭秀文), Andy Hui (許志安), Denise Ho (何韻詩), Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅), Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), Wilfred Lau (劉浩龍), Ivana Wang (王菀之), Jill Vidal (衛詩) and FAMA (農夫). Special guests Andy Lau (劉德華) and Richie Ren (任賢齊) brought the second show to a grand finale with their performances.

 The concert was laid on in memory of three of Capital Artist's greatest stars - Anita Mui (梅艷芳), Roman Tam (羅文) and Leslie Cheung (張國榮) and a tribute medley was performed in their honour, featuring a selection of their classic songs. During the performance, Andy Hui reflected on his memories, saying that many of the songs performed on the evening represented special periods of his life, such as the Dr Slump (IQ博士) theme song bringing back thoughts of his childhood riding on the MTR with schoolfriends and the song "Wolf" <狼來了> taking him back to the time when his career was at a peak.

 Performing together on stage for the first time since the end of their relationship, Andy and Sammi seemed very comfortable and the crew capitalised on the opportunity, focusing the big screen cameras onto Sammi during Andy's speech. Andy also provided the backing vocals for Sammi when she performed their duet "Only You Cannot Be Replaced" <唯獨你是不可取替>. Asked if she would be a guest if Andy was to hold another concert, Sammi smiled that she was more than willing.

Andy Lau laughed that during his time at Capital Artists, he only released one album that sold a total of 486 copies. He joked that each of the 486 people who bought that album should be in the audience for this show. 

With plenty of gentle banter from the singers on stage, including some jokes about Miriam's rumoured boyfriend Real Ting (丁子高) and Denise's friendship with a certain Miss Yung, the audience were treated to a glimpse of the more relaxed side of the stars as well as a selection of unforgettable hits from the 80's and 90's.
