I don't believe in ghost, much less God. Plus, ghost do not acknowledge the existence of God. It acknoledge the existence of a perhaps-after life, but if there is Hell and Heaven as God had said (or so did Bible said), there shouldn't be ghost now, should it?
So ghost are more likely to refute God, IMHO.

Ghosts are demons pretending to be departed humans, the reason is to fool people, it causes people to think "oh that person was bad, never know God, yet he isnt in hell". its all a lie from hell.

Same with so called aliens too....

the bible tells us to sing hymns and praises, but in mans foolish attempt to make Gods word better he implemented his own rules possibly outlawing hymns and praises.

hiake - you say ghost/demon do not acknowledge the existence of God?, how wrong can u be. demons DO acknowledge the existence of God, even if you, a non believer is ever confronted by a demon, all youll have to say is "leave in Jesus name" and it will leave at once. the only spirits that do not fear God are human spirits that can attack and afflict people though methods such as astral projection, they have freewill and can do what they want. if your protected by Jesus then they cant hurt you, if your not then youll have trouble.

as a Christian this is my main areas concerning what ive learnt and been taught. if anyone needs help or advice or info just ask :)

Devil, if I'm not mistaken is Lucifer, one of God's fallen angel. Well, I don't know about ghosts and goblins (I prefer NOT to see any of them AT ALL if they do exists). I have my opinions about religion and God in another thread which I do not want to repeat it here. Anyways, hell or heaven; it sure is entertaining if it's Hollywood's interpretation of it. There were a few good movies, which of course I can't think of it on top of my head now.

Perhaps you are right, but I have yet to see the proof with my own eyes, neither ghost nor demons nor the so-called God dawned on me as of yet. So I have to maintain my belief that ghost is the antithesis of hell -- consider, if hell is not all enveloping that demons or devils can escape, how omnipotent is the God worshipped?

demons and fallen angels can come up and go down to hell hiake, one a select few are bound there by chains as the bible says. hell is not enveloping, but if your a human spirit down there then there is no escape because your time is up. demons and fallen angels can leave at will because there time in not yet up. hope that clears up a few misunderstandings.

unfortunatly, to believe in the true God u need faith, after acepting God with faith he will begin to reveal himself to you. its a wast of time arguing that point because thats the way it is.

BUT.... the bible speaks of a false prophet of satan who will come possibly in your lifetime and he will have all the false signs, miracles and proof your looking for. if you have Faith, you can follow Jesus, but for those without faith, satan is more than happy to trick them into following him. time will tell.

Has anyone noticed that all religions and beliefs are about us reaching up to God or becoming a god, but christianity is the only religion were God reaches down to us.

I knew it! Satan need not constant blood baths to assure his evil, but God on the contrary require constant bloodshreds to show his almighty judgment power which is omnipresent and oh-so-omnibenevolent.
