I think the chicken came 1st cause may be around the stone age, Some spieces got mixed DNA with other different kind & reproduct a new born living being - a baby chicken.

depends what type of egg;
if the egg is" chicken egg" then chicken come first how else do u have a "chicken egg", right?___because a chicken laid it.
if the egg is any egg, then the egg come first, why? becuase dinasaurs laid EGGS! so eggs existed before chicken, but they ain't no chicken egg though!

you need to a rooster and a chicken to make more chickens and roosters. like ALL biological creatures ... you need a male and female to reproduce and continue the line.

NOT TRUE. There are plenty of biological organisms that are asexual, there are even frogs and snails species that can switch between the two genders so that they will not die out when the population is too low. So in fact in the VERY beginning it is very possible that there is no rooster and hen distinction as we know them now. Plus, Chicken is the general term, the counterpart of rooster is hen...
Again, why always asking about the egg? What egg are you asking about? The egg in the biological sense as in egg vs. sperm egg? Or the egg in the shelled oval thing?

Egg. Cause without the egg how would the baby chick develope? New species are made/designed within the DNA and those DNA are passed and developed within the egg. Unless of course a full grown dinosaur (which ever dino it may have been) suddenly morphed into a chicken..

none of the above.

it was the unicellular bacteria that came first. from then, it evolved into planctons and such. from then came sea creatures. from then came land creatures. from then came flying creatures. from all those creatures, also known as prehistoric animals, evolved into the chicken we know and eat today. so which one came first? the bacteria did :P

BUT myth wise, who came first? adam and eve? or adam and eve as babies? if adam and eve were first, they were babies, so who gave them birth? if someone gave them birth, adam and eve arent first humans.. but they are. so the first option is false. the second goes back to the first, so both options are wrong. soooooo it was the bacteria that came first :D

ahahah i love this question..one of he hard that the answer never realy exist..but well between the egg and the chicken..nothing come first because it's like human...which on between the baby or the mother come first... it will be the same question..without egg no chicken..like without chicken no egg!!! well a little bit confusing but everyone have his biirth somewhere..the egg is the first thing that come and then grew up ....

nah its the chicken, you should read the bible if you can hold of one, it tells you how it all happened. there is no mystery. it suprises me how people refuse to believe in God but happily believe everything came out of nothing or from some form of explosion that resulted in me and you sitting in front of our computer right now. i guess for some the writing of charles darwin is easier to accept than the possibility of an intelligent creator.

ahahah u are funnyy..well.. because of what i say u think that i don't believe in god?...-rolleyes
and just to let u khnow i read the bible, the torah, the coran and other religion book..because it's always good to compare all these story and see how similar they are... but well i don't read the whole (thing)..but more than other ppl i can say..and about the theory of darwin i just find it totally hilarious and not something that can be true!!!
But well..to come at the question ...everything come from dust..and wil return to like that..and maybe it have this "hand" from nowhere help to give the form and everything? ..who really khnow..just be open mind and accept what u see....:D

of course the egg, because eggs can be develop by other animals to creat a different type of animal. its like in neopolen dynmite, a lion and a tiger makes up the liger. probily two animals mate and thats how we got the chicken. thats the only way, reasonalbe way to explain who came first.

as were on the subject of chicks in eggs, i came across this, "If it were possible for the bird within the shell to be told that outside of it was a great widespread world, with all kinds of fruit and flowers, with rivers and grand mountains, that its mother also was there, and that it would see all this when set free from its shell, it could not understand or believe it. It was a half chicken thing that gave birth to a egg that was kinda like a chicken, and each egg it laid after that was a little diff than the last, and then you have the chicken, so my answer is the egg... kinda.

Well, if things are created by God, then God will most probably create the chicken first. the reason is ...it's hard to imagine him sitting on the egg to hatch it!!
