i personally think dirk nowitzski's the best now. He's 7 foot and always shoot with an unbalance stance which is incredible.

what do you guys think?

shadow Thi3f

Ray Allen, Kyle Korver, Jason Kapono, and Mike Miller

don't watch NBA enough to comment yet. only watch when it's near the end of the season. i know it's unrelated; but what do you guys think of the new ABA player from China, Sun Ming standing at 7'9"?

Sorry ... i just found this thread http://www.popularasians.com/showthread.php?t=10569 again.

Are we serious? Kobe, as annoying as he is, is probably still the best shooter out there, with range from every point on the court. The only one who can match him stroke for stroke is probably Gilbert Arenas.

I agree with choyboy888. Wade all the way.

What da??? some of yall know nothing about basketball. Dwade is not the best shooter in the league. He shoots 27% from 3 point range and drives to the hole most of the time. He gets half of his points from the free throw line. He leads the league in free throw attempts. He might be a great scorer but he sure aint the best shooter. As for Gilbert, he is very streaky and again hes a scorer not a shooter.

yea same goes kobe. althought when guys like kobe, wade, t-mac etc catches fire, they are just unstoppable outside and inside

03-02-2007, 05:24 PM
as of now, i dink the best shooters are wade (although he is not a 3pt shooter, his mid ranges are unstoppable) and dirk (who can shoot both midrange and long range)

Agent Zero (Gilbert Arenas) shoots treys one-handed.
Then he acts like a dick when it's DeShawn Stevenson's turn to shoot.

Kobe is on form now, dirk nowisky also quite a shooter

fattsoo
04-01-2007, 11:16 PM
got to be ray allen...he can spot up for 3's, can penetrate to the hole, and come off picks...he's the best one right now!!! also, for the stats nuts out there...he shoots over 90% from the free throw line, 48% from the field and over 40% from 3's. Anyone with a 150 (all all 3 together) is consider a great shooter...END OF DISCUSSION!

My ears are burning! Anybody who knows anything about the NBA knows that Dwayne Wade is not the best shooter in the NBA. Dwayne Wade is an awesome scorer but his shooting touch is mediocre at best.
Here is my list for the best shooters:
Kobe Bryant: No one currently in the NBA has been as clutch and dominate as this guy in the 4th quarter, this guy can turn it on whenever he wants.

Ray Allen: The model of consistency. His stroke is so smooth that rarely does he even hit iron on his shots. 90% on free throws.

Steve Nash: Another clutch player and an excellent shooter with excellent percentages 50% from the field and effin 46% from beyond the arc.

Dirk Nowitzki: Great shooter at any height, but it is his height that puts him over the top. When he uses that signature fade-away, it is practically unblockable.

Michael Redd: Despite still being underrated, he is still on of the better shooters in the league.

Joe Johnson: Another underrated shooter with great touch and a great FG% of 47%.

I gotta go with Agent Zero (Gilbert Arenas) for best shooter right now...its too bad he isn't gonna be playing for the rest of the season...

DaGreatAzn
04-17-2007, 10:31 PM
Gilbert Arenas is not the best shooter, he had a few clutch moments but thats all it is. He dosen't have the great percentages like Allen and Nowitzki has and he isn't as clutch as Nash or Bryant.

I say Kobe get's this one. He makes some pretty amazing shots.
Even though I think that given the chance to shoot that many shots in a game, some other players can break 50 just as easily, he does try to carry his team and it looks like they need it right now. They really shouldn't really so much on just Kobe though.

Kobe?!!! He's a ball hog. He gets like 50 attempts per game. Anyway, he's not a shooter. I think Arenas is the best shooter in the NBA. Nash is more of a waiter. Dirk got some arkward jumper, neverthless, he's a pretty good shooter. Peja is yesterday's news by the way.

OK.... wth are you talking about? Ballhogging?! You are just jumping on the kobe bandwagon. Kobe Bryant averages only 2 more shot attempts then Gilbert Arena, your argument is totally bogus. BTW Kobe also averages only .6 less assist per game than Arenas.

lol the funny thing is... Arenas is also a ball hog hahaha... fact is, when ur team needs u to score 40pts most nights to win... ur gonna ball hog... that's Agent0 and the Black Mamba's calling card right there... 40 a night... and who's jumping on Kobe's bandwagon? the guy IS the best player in the game... the only reason why he's not MVP is because basketball isn't a one man show... but he's one hell of a one man show... do you honestly think Dirk or Nash can single handedly carry a team like LA to the playoffs?

i still say Redd is the best shooter... forget field goal percentages cuz that is misleading... and clutch is not the same as hitting the shots consistently like Redd or Allen...

Kobee Bryant

Gilbert Arenas aka AGENT ZERO....no doubt he's the best shooter.
He's all around shooter and clutch when needed!

whoever said wade has got to be smoking. look at his percentage on field goals. no doubt he's a good player but he takes a lot of shots and he misses a lot of them also.

05-06-2007, 09:26 PM
gilbert arenas and dirk

Nash and Kobe i reckon

05-11-2007, 03:56 PM
steve nash, reason why his FG% is so good is he shoots only when hes open. Other than that he creates awesome plays for everyone else to score

smonk3y
05-29-2007, 10:38 PM
nash with the FG and ray allen with the 3s.

05-30-2007, 08:09 PM
umm.. shaq is the best shooter :P

My favorite all-time shooter is my man reggie miller... i love that guy. but he doesn't play anymore =*(

but agent zero is coming up, he might be taking over pretty soon
and dirk he shoots every unbalance and still makes them
