She answered the door wearing a very low cut dress (and is quite attractive) and during the course of the evening, the conversation somehow steered towards how she had not had sex for for some months (having broken up with her boyfriend)...

I swear that if I had wanted to... we would have got it on there and then! BUT I thought of my girlfriend and how gutted I would feel if she had a one-night stand with another man and managed to calm myself down before I made a real stupid mistake... I've since got married to my girlfriend.

It was a close shave though and I'm definitely not going to that colleague's house alone again!

Been there, done that.

At first, I had a real ego boost, pulling women left, right and centre. After a while, it became boring and one of three things would happen:

1. Sex was good, so the two of you would meet up again... By definition, no longer a one night stand!

2. Sex was good, but she's not interested in meeting up... I'm left frustrated.

3. Sex was crap... What a waste of time!

BTW, the best sex I've ever had was always with someone I'd developed into a relationship. Not only was it emotionally stimulating and luxurious, but generally they were comfortable/trusting with me. As a result, they were more willing to let go and be adventurous.
