When's iphone 5 coming out? Rumours has it that it will be out in late August or September. Is there enough improvements over the iphone 4 to wait for it?

especially if its smaller and thinner! =D

not much point having a bigger one, when the ipad covers the next bit
but then again, who knows... maybe get both =P

Well.. iPhone 5 is supposedly releasing in September-October where it should have been released in June. So I'm guessing iPhone 6 might either continue following the September release date.. or go back to June release date..

well whatever they decide to call it
rumours say they're going to release 2 versions when the next one comes out
the basic version (which is meant to be slimmer/smaller using the same stuff as the current 4)
and the "pro" version having upgraded specs and bigger screen etc

i guess the "basic" is what most refer to the 4S, and the pro as the 5?

yes i heard that the release is more of an update rather an actual rehaul so i guess it might not be called iphone 5. similar to the 3g and 3gs version maybe. there are also rumours that apple have plans to have a smaller iphone for the lower end market. it makes sense considering that the market target is almost complete, it's about time to increase their market share by targetting other demographics. plus, it fits in with their overall strategy for the ipods that they sell so it will be interesting to see what happens. what i'm more interested in as well is to see whether there will be an update on the ipod touch this year bcos usually they try to get rid of it at this time, release the iphone around june/july and an update of the ipods in september. but considering the later date for the iphone, maybe there is no update to the ipods this year, besides there isn't much they can really do to update it, and perhaps there might be a new design in way for the ipod touches. i guess we will have to wait and see.
