Recently TVB has been preparing for a Hong Kong version of Bridget Jone's Diary and changed the name into 《肥田囍事》. It is temporarily planned for it to start filming in May and the female lead has to gain 20 pounds to get a fat girl look!
Even though the role requires a big sacrafice, Fa Dan Myolie Wu became the lead and Alex Fong Chung Sun will be playing the role of Hugh Grant. While filming Tai Gik, Myolie especially returned to Hong Kong yesterday. She said that the TVB supervisor did mention this matter but had told her to first do good in Tai Gik, and not worry about this matter.
As with gaining 20 pounds, Myolie doesn't dare to think too much right now to avoid the pressure. This role has been fought for by many female actresses but it landed in Myolie's hands. She is very excited since she likes challenges and jokes that maybe the company chose her because she has chubby cheeks.

its gonna be hard for her to lose the 20 pounds afterwards. it's always easy to gain weight but hard to lose weight.

No!!!! 20 pounds just for a role..they better be paying her good. IT's gonna take her some time to lose weigh..then she won't be actin in another series for a long time til she lose the weigh.

Myolie's red hair is so scary. She is better off with that hair she have in ND than red.
