Stars' income never to be secret

STARS seem untouchable for normal people, but a Guangzhou Website has put hundreds of stars under the spotlight – publishing their performance rewards, Xinhua news agency reported.

On the Website, Jay Chau was said to earn 1 million yuan (US$123,762) for a performance and Yun Fat Chow, HK$12 million (US$1.54 million) as an image ambassador for two years.

Liao Siyong, the operator of the Website, said they published the information two years ago and kept updating it.


He said the Website belongs to a cultural communication company in Guangzhou, which deals in designing and doing performances.



"Many clients asked for stars' stage prices, so we published it on the Website only for convenience," Liao said.

But the site has become very popular as fans rush to get a fix on their favorite stars.

Rewards for each performance of some stars:


S.H.E – HK$3.5 million
Sun Nan – 1.8 million yuan
Jay Chou -- 1 million yuan
Stefanie Sun – US$90,000
Nicholas Tse – US$80,000
Leon Lai – 650,000 yuan
Cecilia Cheung – 530,000 yuan
Dao Lang – 500,000 yuan
Zhao Wei – 350,000 yuan
Han Hong -- 300,000 yuan
Zhou Xun – 250,000 yuan
Pu Shu – 200,000 yuan
Yang Kun – 160,000 yuan
Li Xiang – 130,000 yuan
Xiang Xiang – 60,000 yuan
