And they said they cut back on awards this year. How many? 2? Seriously, the singers are all probably sitting there waiting for this award ceremony to be over with since there are so many awards given out. Then you have those top singers that have to get up 10 million times because they win 10 million awards.

I understand that Metro wants to give everyone an award, but whats the difference between giving no award to Kenny Kwan and 2 awards to Andy Lau (like most award ceremonies) vs. giving 1 award to Kenny Kwan and 8 awards to Andy Lau (Metro's way of doing things?) Nothing, there is no difference. Metro is telling Kenny Kwan, we are only giving you this one award because we want everyone to get at least 1 award, and you are not getting this award because you contributed to the music industry this year.
