I think the way Chik Chak gives out there awards are starting to get less and less fair every year!!!!
The top 10 songs are blehhhh! (namly Juno mak? Miriam yeungs song? Denises song?? are not very popular), suprised fiona or charlene didnt get into Top 10 songs....Charlene did well this year with her songs i thought. or maybe even a GEM song? And Joey songs!!! which are more popular and should have gained more airplay. Either that or the Chik Chak DJs just prefer to play songs by there favourite artists.

Also the song writer award bronze went to 'Lam Hui Fung', he defo only got it becasue he works there.

I guess fiona getting the Bronze female is acceptable i guess.

And how are the last 5 songs chosen??? I mean the one that 'Mr' won. Because there song didnt even make it into the top ten. And so didnt Joeys??

dude, the top 10 songs are based on the airtime they get throughout the calendar year. So, U are Correct when u say that the DJ's preference do have a big bearing on who gets in. Saying that, the DJ will not sabotage their job by playing bad songs coz they need to please the listening public n maintain their rating. I don't think the song listed are that bad. Personal preferences i guess. Personally ,I do think that Joey yung's 搜神記 at least deserve a place in the top 10. However, i don't really rate the song from charlene n fiona from the past year.

As for the last 5 songs chosen as the favourite song, it was voted by the 903 website visitor from a selection of songs. Those 5 are the highest voted among the bunch. So it have nothing to do with the airtime given by the DJ so the list has no link to the Top 10.

If u don't like the award format, u can try ur luck with the coming JSG. But i don't think u will like that much either.
