worth it or not? comes with creative ep-640

i don't like touchscreens and heard the feedback stinks but supports flac and good capacity. 20 hr battery and headphones alone msrp for 40.... i kind of want it though because the scroll wheel is messed up on mines but the touch screen might be the same lol.

i have a pair of audiotechnica ATH-ES7's which tbh are quite disappointing for the money. They are uncomfortable and the sound isn't that great.

I will be buying a pair of these instead this summer:

The DT770s are a good pick as well. Just make sure you get the 80 ohm versions. They're easier to drive.

people say that the es7 are pretty good. ah well it does depend on personal taste. perhaps adjusting the eq might make it better? i also hear that the sony xb series, more specifically the xb700, is quite good. but then again they are extra bassy so it does depend on ur own personal preferences.

I bought a pair of Beats from Dr. Dre. They are the best headphones I've ever gotten. I've tried out all of the headphones that are out there and I settled on the Dr. Dre beats. Worth every penny.

Interesting. What is defined as "best" to you? I'm just curious.

Well as a person with no experience in sound quality, I still personally feel that Dr Dre Beats are very nice and stylish. However, like Apple products, it is expensive, with that money I could (like what I read from forums/websites) invest on a different headphone brand, it may not be as stylish but when it comes to sound quality it can definitely be matched.

Expectation is the root of all heartache

See, that's what I don't understand. When people with no experience in sound state that a headphone is "good" or "the best", what makes them think it's the best? This isn't meant to be insulting, I truly would like to know.

Dr. Dre beats are far from the best, its good/decent but for its price range it kinda like buying an accord for the price of a porsche .. avoid at all cost unless you want to make a fashion statement there are headphones out there for $50 that will put it to shame such as the xb500 .. its like paying $20-30 to replace your stock iphone/pod ear buds when you know they suck but you just want to look cool because they are white.
