I think the ending is alright. The series overall was pretty good.

But towards the end, there were a little rewind of TVB's past series.... is steven's character's the writer of them? Those past series were very memorable. It's probably like 20 times better than this if compare.

Yea, I remember saw those old series, it all came from the books of this author, I believe.

This series was pretty good, the ending was a bit tragic but it was better developed than some of the recent series.

Pretty good series. I was always a fan of Steven Ma. I think this is a good start for Fala and Linda was kind of flat. I don't know the name of the character who played "Ma Gut" but I was a bit surprised he can play such an villain role.

My biggest disappointment is that they didn't utilize the turtle more in the series. I wanted to know more about the turtle and see what else he could do. They finally allowed him to talk on the last episode but that was his last appearance. So disappointed. The turtle was my favorite character. Isn't that the same turtle from that other series?

the ending was ok. abit sad though, that he live alone with her spirit writing tales. but the actual guy himself also write stories, would have been interesting if he really had a gf spirit all the while.

yeah i totally agree i wish they had showed more of the turtle it seems as if it was a ghost trapped inside the turtle's body. I think in one of the eps i believe 44a it was actually talking? I actually didn't really like the ending too much thought they really kind of dragged the series but I guess I enjoyed the series for the most part

Overall, impressed on the ending, though a tragic one as you all say. So I guess Fala turned back to it's human form...anyways, I really like the way how they showed the old TVB series, though I can't recall the names of them all. Ancient series rules!

The ending was ok .. kinda messed up when the older sis wasn't able to appear in court cuz of the "quon pu" of the judge .. then at the last ep, Linda Chung was able to appear w/ no prob. Weird.

Overall, it was a bit choppy.

Yes, indeed. The judges removed their robes, which bore the embroidered representation of the sun, which is supposedly a deadly talisman against the spirit world; or so says Chinese legend. :p

At any rate, the ending was sort of like Italian opera; when someone gets stabbed, instead of dying, they sing. In this case, they talk... a lot, it seems...

ending wasnt bad, i must admit, although i hate Steven Ma, he did very well at the end, Linda Chung still killed it though...Fala improved, loved it when she was playing with her grandfather...

but yeh Pu Zhong Ling was the author of Liu Zai (Dark Tales)

his dark tales consisted many evil beings and vixen (Fox) spirits to compare them to the corrupted court...

The scenes at the end of the series were Dark Tales made by TVB and Mainland...not just TVB

Linda's character ruined the show for everyone. Fala's character offered her peace and was willing to share Steven with her, but Linda's character was stubborn and ignorant. She didn't want to know if there was a difference between a fox god and a fox devil. In the end, they both had to die before both ending up with steven. Should have accepted teh truce and avoided all this BS. From Chap 22 on, i was getting really tired of Linda, and to a certain extent, Steven.

it was a choppy transition between Steven Ma picking up the fox and scenes of Dark Tales I & II showing up, i was like WT?....but it was a pretty good idea to do so. i remember watching them on tv...time flies......

queenie chu, chan chin pang (pak ling), and li tin cheung are my fav supporting actors in this series (Y)
