I need a lazy hairstyle any suggestions?

Three months ago I had my head shaved military style and it felt great. Low maintenance and my buddies thought I looked great. I felt like a sir, and it was great.

Unfortunately not everyone was as thrilled about it as me. The moment I stepped trough the front door of my sweet home my wife gave me the "Y U CUT SO SHORT" facial expression.

I tried convincing her to like my new and manly look by flexing a few muscles and lowering my voice to a Vin Diesel level but that didn't quite worked out as I imagined.

In the end I promised my wife I'll never pull this "prank" again. So it has been a while now and my hairstyle is quickly taking the shape of a shitake mushroom, leaving me with the dilemma of what to do with it.

Help a guy out and help me find a easy haircut without shaving my head.

Long flowing hair is a dick to manage lol. I sometimes question why i have long hair myself but i guess the fauxhawk is easy? Short and easy to manage.. but i personally dont like it cause everyone has it.

Go to a good hairstylist and they can tell you which hairstyle fits you

It's better to keep your hair short. Generally a buzz cut or short and even around the sides will let you climb right out of bed without doing much.

Any longer than that and you're going to have to do maintenance daily, which I hate. lol

This left pic might be little long, But you can tell your hair dresser to cut the side short and leave the front little more hair.

So what I ende dup with huh ... I wouldn't call it a "hairstyle". So I went to the barber and told him: Cut it short but don't make me look like a FoB. I ended up with something not quite FoBish something like this:
